Terminations sured recruitments in nearly every sector of the economy.
Brazil cut 62,844 formal job openings in April, according to figures released by the Ministry of Labor today (May 25) in the General of the Employed and Unemployed, or CAGED. The number is lower than April last year, when 97,828 jobs were lost.
In the first four months this year, the country lost 378,481 formal openings. In the last 12 months, in turn, job cuts totaled 1,825,609. The statistics take into the difference between dismissals and issions. Terminations sured recruitments in nearly every sector of the economy.
