After meeting with President Dilma Rousseff on Wednesday evening (Dec. 9), vice-President Michel Temer said that his ties with the head of state will be “institutional” and “as fertile as possible” from now on.
The two spent a little more than 50 minutes together at the presidential palace. After the conversation, the vice-president said he would make a one-sentence statement only, and did not answer questions posed by journalists.
“We've agreed, President Dilma and I, that we'll have a personal, institutional relationship that's as fertile as possible,” he declared.
