Brazil's gross domestic product (GDP) closed out the second quarter this year at $520.80 billion—up 0.2% from the previous quarter. Compared to the second quarter in 2016, the increase reached 0.3%.
The figures can be found in a survey released in Rio de Janeiro today (Sep 1) by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE). The result shows the country's GDP accumulated from the last four quarters having faced a 1.4% decline from the four quarters prior.
